The Australian Medical Students’ Association (AMSA) has released its Elections Priorities for the 2010 Federal Election.

AMSA President, Ross Roberts-Thomson, said that political parties need to look at improving Australia's medical training system in some key areas, namely in the areas of

Quality Training and Supervision;
Clinical Capacity and Workforce;
Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health; and
Rural and Remote Medicine.
